Class 1 ~ Series 3 - AKA: Here we go again!

Just starting another series of Vision Journal classes at Hillcrest, and beginning (again) with my basic introductory handouts. If you've taken the class already, you've probably seen page 1, but page two has a few little tweaks, including a bit about the supplies I consider my "basic" tools. These are the staples at my worktable as I journal, and the ones I take with me when I travel (I can't imagine not creating~ even for a few days!). If you continue to journal, you will gradually develop your own set of "basic tools" as well. Here are the handouts:

If if you don't read *all* of the handouts, here are the things I want to make sure you know:

  • The "good stuff" is in you, not in the art supplies, even if you're not so sure about that now. Keep creating and the good stuff will come.
  • It's not an art show. Don't worry if it's not "pretty". Far better if it's meaningful for you.
  • Play play play. That's why we work with "cheap" materials ... so we can experiment.
See you in class!
