Dan Casado is *so* not like anything I would have thought of doing before I saw his work ~ which is exactly why I had to try my hand at his style. It's full of colour and populated by interesting beings with long, skinny noses that look directly out of his canvases at you. The interesting thing is that there are layers and layers *under* what you see that really begs you to come in and look closer. I've matched him up with an altered version of a William Shakespeare quote. I shortened the quote to fit into the shapes I had set my heart on using in my piece. I don't think Will will mind.
