Today I Am Inspired by : Pamela Zagarenski and A.A. Milne

I don't even know where to start with Pamela Zagarenski. Sometimes you just come across someone's work that just feels like home to you, and her work was that for me. Yes, I know it's really calm, but it's oh so layered and subtle and positive ~ really a restful place for the eyes and heart. I'm going to stop talking now. A.A. Milne is, of course, well-known to many readers, but I do so love this quote about rivers ~ we could all do with remembering to be patient.

For those of you who were asking in class about the series of beautiful moon images, you can go feast your eyes at the interview with Pamela at the Seven Impossible Things Before Breakfast blog. She's a Caldecott winning children's book illustrator ~ and it shows. But don't let how good she is throw you off your game! You can make beautiful stuff, too ... I promise!
