If it was the bold colours of some artists who've inspired me, it's the opposite with Sarah Ahearn Bellemare. Her soft pastels and almost childlike way of dividing up the space that made me want to challenge myself by attempting her style. She also throws in *just enough* collage to make it all hang together in an interesting way ~ it's like cotton candy for my eyes, and I can't resist its charm.
The Ray Bradbury quote has long been one of my favourites. From the age of 8 to about 30, I read almost nothing except Science Fiction, and I was very pleased with all the real-world wisdom I found there.
